LAWTON, OKLA. – The East Central University women's tennis team dropped a 3-6 decision to Cameron.

The Tigers (6-4, 1-0 GAC) fell behind 1-2 after doubles play, with freshman Srijita Ghosh and sophomore Gloria Mayorga earning a point with an 8-3 win over Angie Torres and Magdalena Kovinic at No. 2 doubles.

ECU then added a win at No. 6 singles when redshirt freshman Veronica Mijares defeated Dejana Veljic 6-1, 7-5.  However, the Aggies (5-1) earned wins at No. 1, No. 3 and No.4 singles to get the needed five points to win the match.
The Tigers final point came from Mayorga at No. 5 singles, when she took a three-set decision (3-6, 7-6 (5), 10-6) from Eugenia Sanchez.

ECU will wrap up their busy week, with a match at 9 a.m., Saturday, March 14 at Midwestern State in Wichita Falls, Texas.
