ADA – While both the East Central University men's and women's tennis teams have been idle for the past week, both moved up in the newest ITA Central Regional Rankings released March 18.  The men's team moved up two positions to No. 7, while the women moved up one spot to No. 8.

The polls also rank individual players and doubles teams, with two men's players and one women's making the lists.  Senior Marc Fillat is currently ranked No. 18 in singles play and No. 5 in doubles with freshman Alex Fillat, who is No. 20 in singles play.

On the women's side sophomore Julia Municoy is No. 10 in singles play, with only one other player from the Great American Conference ranked above her.

Both teams will return to action Saturday, March 21 at 9 a.m. in Fort Smith, Ark., against Arkansas-Fort Smith.
