SEMINOLE, OKLA. – The East Central University men's tennis team dropped the first dual match of the 2015-16 season to NJCAA #2 ranked Seminole State, 2-7.

The Tigers (0-1) earned both of their points in the match during singles play.  Junior Trevor Kipping was the first to score for ECU, earning a 6-4, 4-6, 10-4 win at No. 6 singles over Richardo Almeida.

Sophomore Sergio Espias added the second point with a 6-3, 2-6, 10-8 win at No. 3 singles over Stefan Gonzalez.

The Tigers will now get ready for the home opener for the 2015-16 season, as they are set to host Midwestern State, Saturday, Feb. 6 at 1 p.m. at Mayhue Courts.
