ADA – The East Central University women's tennis team picked up a 7-2 win over Cowley County Community College at the Ada High Tennis Courts.

Anna Garcia were the first to finish at No. 2 doubles, with an 8-1 win over Andjela Rajovic and Sara Petric.

Srijita Ghosh then earned an 8-2 win at No. 3 doubles over Stormi Tipton and Peyton Adams. Junior

Gloria Mayorga then defeated Eva Forneiron and Sarah Frendo 9-7 at No. 1 doubles.
Cowley County earned the next point, but Ghosh made it 4-1 for ECU with a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 5 singles over Kasey Coker. Makashov claimed the match win for the Tigers with a 7-5 (3), 6-3 win over Rajovic at No. 3 singles.
ECU also saw points from Municoy at No. 2 singles and Mayorga at No. 4 singles. ECU will continues its home stand, with a match Friday, Feb. 26 against Tarleton State at 10 .am.
