ADA – The East Central University tennis teams will play their first matches at home for the 2015-16 season this weekend.  The women's team will first travel to Edmond, Okla., Friday, Feb. 5 to face Texas-Permian Basin.  Both teams are then set to host Midwestern State, Saturday, Feb. 6 at 1 p.m. at Mayhue Courts.

The women's team is currently 0-1 on the season after dropping its season opener to Seminole State, who is ranked No. 3 in the NJCAA.  The men's team also fell to a No. 2 ranked Seminole State in its season opener.

The Falcons enter this weekend's action with a 0-1 record as well after falling to Abilene Christian last weekend, 0-9.

The women's team from Midwestern State has been on an exhibition tour in the region that will end Thursday, Feb. 4 at Seminole State.  The match with the Tigers will be the first match that will count toward the Mustangs record.

The MSU men's team has also been on an exhibition swing, with two matches in the last week and will also officially start the season against ECU.

Both teams will then be off for a week, with the next men's match set for Feb. 13 at St. Mary's and the next women's outing, Feb. 17 at home against Central Oklahoma.
