ADA – After over a week off, the East Central University men's tennis team came back strong and earned a 6-3 win over Lewis University in non-conference action at the Ada High School Tennis Courts.

Sergio Espias and junior
Stefan Schodlbauer were the first to finish, defeating Anton Levitin and Chandler Stimpert 8-3 at No. 3 doubles.
The Flyers (5-2) then took No. 1 doubles, but sophomore
Adria Abella and junior
Erik Eldagsen defeated Andre Norasith and Brendan Peterson 8-2 at No. 2 doubles to put ECU up 2-1.
Abella made the score 3-1 for the Tigers with a 6-4, 7-2 victory over Norasith at No. 3 singles. Eldagsen then put the match within reach (4-1), with a 7-5, 6-2 win over Stimpert at No.4 singles.
Lewis pushed back to take No. 1 and No. 2 singles for a 4-3 score, but redshirt freshman
Albert Lapiedra earned the win for the Tigers with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Levitin at No. 6 singles.
Sophomore
Marc Lerch finished the match with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Peterson at No. 5 singles.
ECU will now get ready for two matches, Friday, March 4 in Lawton, Okla. The Tigers will face both Cameron and Colorado State-Pueblo.
