ADA – The East Central University women's tennis team fell 3-6 to Lewis University in non-conference action at the Ada High School Tennis Courts.

The Tigers (2-5) gained one point during the doubles matches, with sophomore Srijita Ghosh and sophomore Veronica Mijares defeating Hannah Cross and Megan Conlin 8-1 at No. 3 doubles.

The Flyers (4-2) picked up the first three singles matches to secure the win.  However, Ghosh and Mijares both earned wins at No. 5 and No. 6 singles for the final two points for ECU.

Ghosh defeated Megan Conlin (6-0, 6-3) at No. 5 singles and Mijares defeated Hannah Cross (6-0, 6-1) at No. 6 singles.

The Tigers will next be in action, Tuesday, March 8 at 1 p.m. when the host Upper Iowa at Mayhue Courts.
