ADA – The East Central University women's tennis team earned its second-straight win with a 5-4 victory over Arkansas-Fort Smith at the Ada High School Tennis Courts.

Srijita Ghosh earning an 8-4 win over Madison Carr and Kendra Dinsmore at No. 3 doubles.
The Lions (1-8) earned the first two points at singles, with wins at No. 4 and No. 2 singles to make the score 1-4.
Ghosh cut into the deficit with a 6-0, 6-3 win at No. 5 singles over Jaycie Wright. Junior
Julia Municoy got ECU within one (3-4) with a 4-6, 6-1, 6-1 win over Abby Thompson at No. 1 singles.
Sophomore
Alex Makashov tied the match at four with a 4-6, 6-2, 7-5 win over Carr at No. 3 singles.
That brought the match decision coming with the results of No. 6 singles. Sophomore
Veronica Mijares earned the win for the Tigers by defeating Dinsmore 6-3, 6-4.
ECU will have two matches this weekend as they face Emporia State, Sunday, March 13 and Augustana College, Monday, March 14 in Emporia, Kan.
