EMPORIA, KAN. – The East Central University men's tennis team (No. 45) earned a 9-0 sweep of Augustana College in NCAA Central Region action.

The Tigers (5-3) earned all three doubles points, including an 8-2 win by redshirt freshman Albert Lapierda and sophomore Alex Fillat over Joe Sawatzke and Reed Ritterbusch.

Junior Erik Eldagsen earned the match-winning point for ECU at No. 4 singles with a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Ritterbusch.

The Tigers will have one more match in Emporia, Kan., as they are set to play Emporia State, Monday, March 14 at 2 p.m.
